I can't say enough about this fabulous practice, the staff and Drs. Carter and Chandler! The care, compassion and genuine concern I experienced during a very difficult procedure was so incredible, I almost want to have another root canal just to go back to them. Please, please offer general dentistry as well and you'd have a life-long patient here. Love you guys!

It is never "fun" to go to the endodontist as you obviously are beyond the traditional dentist's expertise area. However, should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing care, I highly recommend Dr. Chris and Dr. Chandler. I have seen both and feel the conscience of the office is set by them: all staff is professional and expert in their area. I will seek care no where else for the type of service they provide. They are great ambassadors for their profession. Also...their sense of humor helps ease the stress of being there. Bravo!!!

 I recently underwent treatment by Dr. Chandler, and I am simply thrilled with the results. He was able to diagnose and treat the pain I have been having off and on for 9 months. I had seen 2 excellent dentists, and neither could figure out precisely what was causing my pain! My dentist then referred me to Dr. Chandler. He spent 45 minutes examining me and talking with me - to try and figure out from where my pain was coming. He has a great deal of sophisticated equipment, but the most important thing was just listening to my symptoms.

I have never had a root canal or any other dental procedure that I couldn't feel when the numbing injection was given.  I kept waiting & it never came.  So, I thought I guess Dr. Chandler had already given it.  This was pleasant surprise.   The injection, to me, is more painful than any of the other phases of treatment. Overall, a pain-free dental experience.  What more can you ask for?   Dr. Chandler seemed to take his time in explaining what my dx was & my options.   He has a very nice bedside manner.

Before, during and after the procedure, it was a pleasant experience because, frankly, I was in so much pain before due to the infection and inflammation that almost anything would've helped! I went in a little nervous since this was my first root canal. I told Dr. McGrew that I was and he said he could understand that and said we'll get through this together and was very calm and explained the procedure to me. That made me less nervous. The procedure was near pain free. The wand that they use to numb is great! He worked fast and was very efficient and it was over before I knew it. I have a tooth that started to bother me for no obvious reason. Dr. Carter was able to work me in on a Friday and I am very grateful that he could. It turned out that the tooth was cracked down into the nerve. Dr. Carter was able to save the tooth and I am back in New Jersey waiting for a permanent crown that will keep the tooth from cracking in half. Root canals have an undeservedly bad reputation. The visit was completely painless and didn't take all that long. Heaven forbid, if I ever need another root canal I hope I'm in Charleston and Dr. Carter is available.
